Message to All Barrington Hills Homeowners

We understand the urgency and concern surrounding recent notices circulating in the community.

However, before taking any action, please take a moment to consider the importance of acting

together, transparently, and lawfully.

We are all in this together, and we need your help as a collective to ensure Barrington Hills moves

forward in a way that restores trust, accountability, and transparency — not confusion or division.

Our goal is not to divide ownership — it is to unite every homeowner under a shared mission:

• To restore legitimate governance
• To seat a duly elected Board of Directors
• To secure the community’s financial and legal stability under proper procedure and oversight

Let’s Work Together Toward a Lawful and Transparent Path Forward

• Let’s ensure every action is taken under proper authority.

No valid governing authority currently exists to call an official “Special Meeting.” The

Individuals named in the recent flyer have not been lawfully elected or certified as officers

of the Association.

• Let’s follow a process that protects us all under Georgia law.

Only a properly seated and verified board can issue notices, distribute proxies, or certify

elections. Acting outside those requirements may create confusion or expose the

community to legal risks.

• Let’s safeguard your information and privacy.

The flyer asks for personal information and signatures without verified protection of

homeowner data or independent oversight.

• Let’s build trust through open records and fair verification.

A lawful process includes record transparency, election oversight, and certified

documentation — none of which is in place yet.

• Let’s come together, not apart.

Competing efforts or unverified elections could create further division and

uncertainty within our community.

What We Are Asking You to Do Instead

• Stand united as homeowners — do not submit or sign any unauthorized petitions or forms.
• Support the Barrington Hills Community Action Council (BHCAC) as we work to:
• Establish lawful governance through court-supervised or member-verified elections.
• Protect homeowner rights under O.C.G.A. § 14-3-701 et seq. and § 44-3-70 et seq.
• Restore transparency, accountability, and proper management oversight.
• Wait for official, certified communication through the BHCAC website or direct written notice.

Final Thought

No single person can fix the challenges facing Barrington Hills — but together, we can

restore integrity, elect a legitimate board, and secure the future of our community.
