Barrington Hills Condominium Association

State of the Community – November 2025

Prepared by the Barrington Hill Community Action Council (BHCAC)

Where We Stand:

  • The current HOA Board of Directors and managing agent have failed to uphold transparency and compliance with the Association’s governing documents.
  • Reserve funds have been redirected without clear authorization or disclosure to owners.
  • Our Association’s governance legitimacy is in question — records have not been properly transferred, and required meetings have not been held in accordance with the bylaws.

What the BHCAC Has Done:

  • Filed formal demands to secure the Association’s records, accounts, and credentials from the management company and its legal representatives.
  • Drafted petitions for a Special Meeting of the Membership to restore homeowner voting rights and conduct a lawful board election.
  • Established an Interim Administrative Committee to safeguard the community’s interests until a legitimate board is elected.
  • Begun preparing governance and compliance documents — including bylaw updates, conflict-of-interest policies, and record retention standards — aligned with Georgia law and nonprofit best practices.

Our Vision for Barrington Hills:

  • Transparent financial management — every dollar accounted for and accessible to owners.
  • Safe and well-maintained property — addressing deferred repairs, pest control, and landscaping.
  • Community-driven leadership — owners, not outside agents, making the decisions that shape our future.
  • Open communication — no more secrecy, delays, or unanswered questions.

How You Can Help:

  1. Sign the Special Meeting Petition to support the election of a legitimate Board of Directors.
  2. Join a Committee — your experience, ideas, and voice matter.
  3. Stay informed and connected through community meetings and online updates.
  4. Spread the word — talk to your neighbors, share updates, and help us rebuild our community together.
